The most recent unique design from Rolls-Royce is a custom Phantom that honors the splendor of Italian Rivera and its winemaking customs. The one-of-a-kind Bespoke Phantom “Inspired by Cinque Terre” distinguishes itself with an extensive array of unique stylistic elements and unrivaled attention to detail from the other luxurious but base models in the Rolls-Royce lineup.
Cinque Terre, sometimes known as the “Five Lands,” is a coastal region that hugs the Mediterranean Sea in Liguria, northern Italy. The area, which consists of the five cliffside villages of Riomaggiore, Manarola, Vernazza, and Monterosso, is well-known for its fishing and its terraced vineyards on the hillsides. Numerous design cues and motifs on the custom Phantom are homages to the Cinque Terre.
The one-off is painted in a distinctive Ligurian blue hue, starting with the outside. Hand-applied Navy Blue and Jasmine double coach lines, as well as a delicate grapes motif, adorn the bodywork. But the majority of the custom artistic touches are found within the one-of-a-kind Phantom. The cabin is beautifully styled with jasmine accents and Grace White and Navy Blue leather. The rear doors feature an exquisite grape-branch embroidery. Each piece, according to Rolls-Royce, was made using 9215 stitches utilizing two distinct techniques.
Both picnic tables have a complex inlay with a combination of gold and stainless steel plating that depicts the grape pattern. The unique Starlight Headliner, which features an embroidered map of Italy with 14,338 individual threads, is one of the Phantom’s attractions. The Cinque Terre settlements are represented by the five softly glowing stars that are carefully placed by hand at the edge of the coastline. In addition, the cabin is furnished with custom artwork that draws inspiration from the towns. One such piece is found in the Gallery, which also holds a specifically commissioned piece that perfectly embodies the vivid colors, architecture, and spirit of Cinque Terre. In addition, a silver-debossed picture of the towns adorns the glovebox. Rolls-Royce has decided not to disclose the ownership’s identity or the price, so there are no surprises.
