A video appears to show Ben White laughing at Jack Grealish after a brawl broke out during Arsenal’s victory over Manchester City.
As the City players headed into the tunnel, a number of them got into fights with the starting lineup.
Jack Grealish clashed with someone connected to Arsenal
Ben White found the altercation amusing and had to hold in his laughter
Grealish was scored away from the bust-up and down the tunnel
Unused substitute Grealish got into a fight with players and officials from the Gunners and had to be hauled off by security.
Grealish, an enraged England winger, was seen walking down the tunnel while White, 26, seemed to grin in response to his actions.
The defender seemed amused by something, though it was unclear exactly what, and he could not help but smile to himself as it happened.
Grealish, 28, and Thomas Partey had a run-in during City’s 4-1 victory over Mikel Arteta’s team in April. It is not the first time the two have clashed with an Arsenal player.
When Arsenal visits the Etihad later this season, City supporters are hoping that the altercation will give their team even more motivation.
“This is gonna backfire so bad lmao we got the hunger we needed,” remarked one admirer.
“They just gave City motivation for zero reason đŸ˜,” another person said.
Erling Haaland and Kyle Walker, Grealish’s teammates, also had a falling out with their Arsenal counterparts.
Just after Mikel Arteta’s historic victory versus City in the 86th minute thanks to a goal from Gabriel Martinelli, Gunners coach Nicolas Jover angrily walked the two off at The Emirates.
Erling Haaland and Kyle Walker were involved in a confrontation with Arsenal coach Nicolas Jove
Jover, who transferred from City to the club in July 2021, said something to the City bench that infuriated Walker, who rushed over to confront Jover with Haaland’s help.
After that, a large group of City employees and coaches gathered, and then the security personnel from Arsenal divided the two groups and escorted Walker and Haaland—who were still very upset—down the tunnel.
