Manchester United’s rising star, Alejandro Garnacho, has inked a significant deal with the prominent American sportswear giant, Nike.

 

Garnacho has had a standout season, making a significant contribution to Manchester United’s Under-18s team, which clinched the FA Youth Cup. The 17-year-old forward has managed to find the net five times in the league, earning him an unexpected call-up to the Argentine national team.

 

Recently, this promising young player had the opportunity to train with Manchester United’s first team, sporting Nike footwear exclusively. He took to social media on Wednesday night to reveal his new alliance, proudly announcing that he has signed on as the latest Nike Athlete, representing Manchester United.

 

Garnacho expressed his joy and pride, stating, “I am delighted and proud to be joining the world’s best brand, Nike.”

A native of Spain, Garnacho made his move to Manchester United two years ago after departing from Atletico Madrid. While he previously represented Spain at the Under-18 level, he has since had a change of heart and is now eligible to play for Argentina due to his mother’s nationality.

 

During the international break, Garnacho had the privilege of training alongside Lionel Messi, and since then, he has had the opportunity to learn from Ronaldo, who also dons Nike shoes.

Later this month, Garnacho aims to lead Manchester United to their first FA Youth Cup title since 2011.
