According to reports, Chelsea is allegedly in talks with Palmeiras to acquire Estevao Willian, a 16-year-old sensation, continuing their strategy of raiding Brazil for youthful talent.
According to GOAL’s sources, the English club is eager to sign the promising young attacker/midfielder and is offering a transfer fee and potential bonuses totaling €40 million (£35 million/$43 million).
Willian, who was born in April 2007, will become eighteen in 2025, the year before he plans to sail to the British Isles. Endrick, a striker for Real Madrid, will make a similar move to Madrid next summer, and Chelsea hopes to follow in his footsteps by using him.
Supposedly, the player and Palmeiras each own 30% of the rights to a €45 million (£39 million or $49 million) release clause. The Verdao are talking about selling Willian for a fixed price of €20 million, which is equivalent to £18 million or $22 million, with payments spread out over time. Furthermore, targets relating to performance, such as those with Palmeiras, Chelsea, and possible Brazilian national team calls, are being considered along with bonuses of €20 million.
Arsenal, Barcelona, and Paris Saint-Germain are among the other elite teams that have shown interest in signing Willian. The discussions supposedly broke down because none of them proceeded with the negotiations.Moises Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez, Angelo Gabriel, and Andrey Santos are just a few of the young South American players now playing for Chelsea. So, if Willian does decide to join the London club, he will be up against a lot of other young players who are just as anxiоus to get their careers started. In June, a young star from Ecuador named Kendry Paez inked a deal with the Blues that was comparable to the one being considered for Willian. Therefore, Todd Boehly’s approach for bringing in so many young players simultaneously has been called into doubt.Even with this youthful talent they’ve signed, Chelsea still needs more оffensive firepower. Armando Broja and Nicolas Jackson haven’t been up to s𝚗uff thus far this season. In January, rumors circulated that they were interested in signing Napoli forward Victor Osimhen for £100 million ($126 million), although the deal could fall through due to concerns over Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations.
