As Reece James returns to training with Chelsea to prepare for Arsenal, scouts have seen three things

The Chelsea players have resumed training at Cobham in preparation for this weekend’s Premier League match against Arsenal. Cole Palmer, Levi Colwill, and Mykhailo Mudryk were among the players whom Mauricio Pochettino welcomed back after they had served their countries in international competition.

Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo played last night in South America and have not yet joined the squad for their training session at Cobham, but Reece James did. The Blues’ captain has been sidelined with a hamstring ailment since the season opener.

A new update has been released by journalist Nathan Gissing, who is collaborating with Gianluca Di Marzio of Italy. According to the article, James took a knock lately, but a scan determined he was fine.

According to Gissing, the England international has been practicing alone, casting doubt on his availability for Sunday’s match against Arsenal. If James is unable to play, Malo Gusto, fresh off a three-game suspension, would likely start at right back.

Carney Chukwuemeka and Trevoh Chalobah’s absences from training were the next thing noticed. Ahead of Saturday’s match against Arsenal, the Blues released a statement saying that both Chalobah and Chukwuemeka have been injured.

Trevoh Chalobah (defense) and Carney Chukwuemeka (midfield) have experienced recently setbacks in their attempts to return from injuries they sustained earlier this season. Both players “will undergo additional evaluation before continuing their rehabilitation at Cobham with the club’s medical staff,” according to the team’s official statement.
