Before the Trail Blazers game, the Golden State Warriors make roster changes

The Portland Trail Blazers will play the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center on Wednesday night.

The organization stated prior to the game that they had recalled G League player Trayce Jackson-Davis in an effort to make room on the roster.

According to Warriors PR: “The Golden State Warriors have recalled center/forward Trayce Jackson-Davis from the team’s G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, it was announced today.”

This season, Jackson-Davis has alternated between the Warriors and Santa Cruz several times.

He most recently played for Santa Cruz on Tuesday. He was selected with the 57th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft out of Indiana.

Jackson-Davis shot 5/7 from the field and finished with 13 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steаl, and 6 blocks in 30 minutes of action.

After 13 NBA games for the Warriors, Jackson-Davis is averaging 3.0 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 54.5% shooting from the field per game.

With a 9-11 record through their first 20 games, the Warriors are currently ranked as the 11th seed in the Western Conference.

They have dropped their last ten games, going 3-7, and most recently suffered a 113–111 away loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Warriors have played ten games in the Chase Center and are 4-6 at home, while they are 5-5 away from home.

They will visit the Oklahoma City Thunder for their next game on Friday night, following the Trail Blazers.
