Chelsea fans believe they have discovered film of Mateo Kovacic celebrating Cole Palmer’s injury-time equalizer against Manchester City on Sunday.
It was an all-action game that came down to the wire, with Kovacic returning to Stamford Bridge after joining Cityzens for £25 million earlier this summer.
With barely five minutes remaining and City leading 4-3, replacement Armando Broja found himself in control inside the City penalty area, but was hauled down by Ruben Diaz. Following that, referee Anthony Taylor gave a penalties, which Palmer converted.

However, @LondonsFirst_ has released a video online in which Chelsea fans claim to see Kovacic celebrating the equalizer.
According to some fans, as Palmer puts the ball into the net, the Croatian midfielder can be seen turning away while appearing to do a slight fist-pump.
Kovacic first arrived at Stamford Bridge on loan from Real Madrid in 2015, with the Blues electing to sign him permanently in 2019, after which he stayed for another three years.
Some supporters have gone to social media to say that the 29-year-old still has fond memories of his former club.

On X, one user said, ‘His head is still in Chelsea, once a Blue always a Blue.’
‘Bro forgot he switched teams for a minute,’ wrote another, while another added, ‘Muscle memory.’
‘Man hit the fist pump,’ another wrote.
Kovacic, who won the Champions League and the Europa League with Chelsea, appeared in 221 games for the club in all competitions.
For City, he has rapidly established himself as an important member of Pep Guardiola’s squad, starting six of the ten games in which he has been available.

But City were left reeling after Palmer scored in the fifth minute of injury time to halve the points
His return to west London will be one of the most thrilling Premier League matches in history.
Erling Haaland gave the visitors the lead after being taken down inside the area by Marc Cucurella. Thiago Silva and Raheem Sterling responded with a quick double, before Manuel Akanji scored just before halftime.
Just after halftime, Haaland gave City the lead again, lunging to touch in a cross, before Nicolas Jackson equalized with his third goal in two games to make it 3-3.
Rodri appeared to have scored a winner in the 86th minute, but Palmer converted his second penalty in as many games, shattering Man City’s chances of closing the gap on Arsenal and Liverpool at the top of the table.
