Chelsea interest
On Friday morning, The Daily Mail reported that both Chelsea and Brentford, Premier League clubs, are closely monitoring Charlton’s promising young player. The 6ft 6in striker has caught the attention of several teams following his impressive breakthrough into senior football.
According to the report, the English talent remains under contract with Charlton for a few more years, giving the club the luxury of not being compelled to sell their prized asset immediately. It is worth noting that Charlton turned down an offer in the summer from an undisclosed Bundesliga club, which exceeded £3 million.
