Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher opens out on the challenges of playing with high-priced teammates

Conor Gallagher freely confesses that he thrives on the pressure of “proving his point.”

Even among Chelsea’s expensively built midfield, academy product Gallagher was brilliant when captaining the team against Arsenal.

Gallagher, 23, seems like a manager’s dream since he never gives up, fights hard in every game, and is such a good role model for his teammates, even the over-priced midfielders Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo.

Gallagher, a Chelsea midfielder, gushed, “Yeah, I love it. I’ve spent most of my career with something to prove, and that’s great because I thrive on competition and am constantly looking for new goals to strive for. At this stage in my career, I just want to keep up my current form and do whatever I can to help Chelsea move up the standings. In my opinion, money is not the issue. The manager chooses his team, and I get along well with him; he appreciates my skills and the value I contribute to the team, and I have a positive feeling about our current dynamic.

“I think I cоntribute а fighting аttitude tо the teаm, which is incredibly cruciаl. I put in my аbsоlute best effоrt аt аll times аnd try tо inspire my teаmmаtes tо dо the sаme.

All the players were outstanding in their work ethic, and that’s something we’re going to need moving forward, along with the other traits they bring to the team.Although this process will undoubtedly take some time, the current roster’s talent and dedication are hard to dispute. Every player is giving their all in practice and games because they all want to win. It’s fantastic to see some progress in the last few games, but yeah, it’s going to take time.

After leading 2-0, Gallagher said, “Before the game, maybe we would have been happy with a point but after the game with how it went, it was really disappointing.”

It hurts a lot to give up two goals in the last minutes after leading 2-0 and playing so brilliantly and professionally. There is widespread dismay.
