Chelsea striker Armando Broja trained yesterday ahead of his side’s Premier League game against Brentford on Saturday.

Armando Broja missed the 2-2 draw with Arsenal last weekend, but Chelsea’s official club website has confirmed that he was able to train on Tuesday.

It is a boost for Mauricio Pochettino, who had to use Cole Palmer as a false 9 in the London derby, something the 21-year-old has spoken about.

Nicolas Jackson was not fit enough to start the game against Mikel Arteta’s men, resulting in Palmer having to play out of position.

However, with Jackson able to make the bench and Broja training yesterday, both strikers should be available to start at the Gtech Community Stadium.

Who will Mauricio Pochettino start up front against Brentford?

Palmer did a good job leading the line in the draw with Arsenal, even managing to get himself a goal thanks to a first-half penalty.

Jackson has been Chelsea’s first-choice striker this season, though. If the Senegal international is fully fit, we think he will get the nod.
