Chelsea targets their former player

Chelsea faces a headache in attack. Mauricio Pochettino’s team missed a series of good opportunities this season. The poor play of the attackers greatly affected the Blues’ field performance.

After 7 rounds of Premier League 2023/2024, the London team ranked 11th in the rankings, scoring seven goals. Dismal statistics cannot satisfy the fans. Rookie Nicolas Jackson caused disappointment when he appeared ungainly in front of the opponent’s goal.

According to journalist Simon Phillips, Chelsea should consider re-signing Tammy Abraham. Sharing on the online platform Substack, Simon Phillips gave his opinion: “According to personal sources, a Chelsea employee keeps in regular contact with Tammy Abraham.”

Simon Phillips commented that the Blues have added Abraham’s name to the list of strikers who need attention in the transfer market. Currently, the 26-year-old assassin is sidelined with an anterior cruciate ligament injury while playing for AS Roma.

In the past, Abraham was expected to become Chelsea’s main goalscorer. In total, Abraham contributed 30 goals in 82 matches for Chelsea’s first team.
