Chelsea winger learn from Salah and Mbappe to improve his performance

Noni Madueke, a versatile player capable of occupying the roles of a right winger or forward, joined Stamford Bridge in January through a £35 million transfer from PSV in the Netherlands. Currently, the U21 England international has accumulated 16 appearances for Chelsea, contributing 2 goals to the team’s efforts.

Madueke is on a mission to elevate his game and has taken inspiration from Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and PSG’s Kylian Mbappe to reach his full potential. He emphasized, “I’m determined to progress in the best possible way.”

“Our analyst, James Ryder, holds Salah and Mbappe in high regard, so I closely observe their playstyle. Their adeptness in positioning themselves to receive passes within the penalty area, their ball control – these are skills I aim to master. One area I intend to incorporate into my game is goal-scoring; I also aspire to refine my one-touch control.”

“While I recognize my strength lies in speed, there are moments when I need to maintain composure during critical situations for that decisive finish. I’m committed to continuous improvement as I strive to compete for a starting spot at Chelsea. I’m pushing myself to the limits.”

Chelsea commenced the season slowly under the guidance of their new head coach, Mauricio Pochettino. However, they have exhibited signs of improvement recently, clinching victories in their last two Premier League fixtures against Fulham and Burnley. Following the international break, Chelsea is scheduled to confront Arsenal at Stamford Bridge in the upcoming week.
