Chelsea’s 2 world-class players both come from Mancity

Chelsea had a poor start to this season. However, what Cole Palmer has shown deserves applause. He does well in defending from a distance, developing the ball and creating opportunities for teammates.

Palmer continued to start after the Blues’ defeat against Brentford. He continued to have an impressive performance against Blackburn Rovers, helping Mauricio Pochettino’s team win an important victory at Stamford Bridge to put his name in the quarter-finals of the League Cup – a tournament where candidates like Man United and Man City , Arsenal were all eliminated.

After the match, Glenn Murray praised the £45 million contract that Chelsea bought from Man City: “The best player on the field is Palmer. He seems to be at a higher level than the rest.”

At age 21, Palmer has a promising future. Once Chelsea gets into gear, the British star promises to explode even more. Sharing with BBC Sport, football expert Pat Nevin has reason to say that Palmer is a younger version of Kevin de Bruyne.
