Chelsea’s commitment to Mykhaylo Mudryk after the loss to Brentford

In a discussion with CaughtOffside, columnist Fabrizio Romano provided insights into the future of Ukrainian star Mykhaylo Mudryk at Chelsea.

Romano clarified that Mudryk had not lived up to expectations since arriving at Stamford Bridge. Consequently, various rumors had circulated suggesting Chelsea might consider parting ways with the Ukrainian talent.

However, according to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea remains steadfast in its support of Mudryk and has no intentions of selling him. The Italian journalist emphasized:

“Chelsea never had any intention of parting ways with this player, either in the summer or at any other time.”

“In the past, Chelsea had faith in Mudryk, and that faith persists today. The club firmly believes that we have yet to witness the best of Mudryk. It might take time, but Chelsea is confident he will emerge as a significant star in the future.”

“This transfer was a substantial step for any player, and it’s crucial to remember that he is only 22 years old.”

“Adapting to a new country, a new language, and a new club in the Premier League, widely regarded as the best league in the world, presents a significant challenge for anyone.”
