Official: Chelsea announce Infinite Athlete as shirt sponsor for 2023-24 season
“Principal partner”
The Premier League eventually authorized Chelsea’s sponsorship deal with data firm Infinite Athlete (IA) earlier this week, and the club has now formally confirmed the alliance in front of our games this weekend. (Since we already had a partnership with Tempus Ex, IA’s former incarnation, for our app-based streaming services, we’re calling it a “extended partnership”).

The announcement from Chelsea makes no mention of the deal’s financial details, but it does seem to imply that it is only for this year. It’s reportedly a £40 million arrangement, the same amount per year as our prior agreement with Three UK. According to reports, Chelsea is aggressively looking for a long-term sponsorship deal for the upcoming season and beyond.
Anyway, if you were wanting to get a sponsorless shirt, hopefully you were able to do so. They will have a sponsor on the front starting right now (or “shortly”!)
