Following Chelsea’s match against Arsenal, head coach Mauricio Pochettino shared his thoughts on goalkeeper Robert Sanchez’s costly mistake, acknowledging the player’s disappointment while offering a broader perspective.

 

“Sanchez is very disappointed with his performance, but overall, we are satisfied with him. Such unfortunate things often happen in football,” Pochettino commented. “That goal helped Arsenal believe they could come back. We should have read the situation better. We shouldn’t have made high-risk plays in the 77th minute. That should have been a different decision. However, in this match, no one is to blame.”
