In the aftermath of Chelsea’s disappointing 2-0 loss to Brentford at Stamford Bridge, Cole Palmer conveyed his dissatisfaction with a succinct six-word message. The defeat halted Chelsea’s four-game unbeaten streak across all competitions and allowed Thomas Frank’s side to surpass them in the Premier League standings.

Despite a promising first half from Chelsea, during which they created numerous scoring opportunities, their efforts were rendered futile when Ethan Pinnock headed in the opening goal just before the hour mark.
