A new limited edition of the Diavel 1260 has been added by Ducati, drawing inspiration from the unique Diavel “Materico” that the Italian motorcycle maker unveiled in 2019. The magnificent Diavel 1260 “Lamborghini” that Ducati released a few months ago as a tribute to the Sian FKP 37 hybrid hypercar is being followed by the 2022 Ducati Diavel 1260 S “Black and Steel,” a limited edition vehicle. The special edition, as its name implies, is based on the Ducati Diavel 1260 S model from 2022. Its stunning color palette distinguishes it from the standard version. “Asymmetrical and refined graphics that combine glossy grey and matt black as the main colors, to which are added sporty touches in yellow” best describe the distinctive “Black and Steel” livery.

“The Ducati Diavel 1260 family, which is known for its flair, inventiveness, and performance, has taken home important international design honors like the Good Design Award and the Red Dot Award. In terms of mechanics, the special edition and the motorcycle it is based on are identical. It is powered by a 162 horsepower 1262 cc Testastretta DVT engine from Ducati. The 2021 MIMO Motor Show in Milan, which opens today, will be the venue for the public debut of the 2022 Ducati Diavel 1260 S “Black and Steel.” It will be on sale at showrooms in July 2021, although Ducati has not yet disclosed the price. For comparison, the Lamborghini edition retailed for $31,995, and the most recent special edition may have a price tag of a similar amount.
