His love of the country life at his Cotswolds house is well known.

Hey there: The former England captain, 48, shared the Instagram post alongside a cheeky caption referencing Lionel Messi , his signing at his team Inter Miami

The former England captain, 48, shared the Instagram post alongside a cheeky caption referencing Lionel Messi , his signing at his team Inter Miami

Here they are: Referencing the term GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) - used to describe sportspeople at the top of their game - he penned: 'Found a little friend in the country. And no Harper Seven sorry we can¿t keep it. we have enough G.O.A.Ts right now @intermiamicf' (David and Messi pictured in July)

Even though the adorable animal attracted attention, David’s hair stole the show in his most recent Instagram selfie, when he appeared significantly leaner and was seen posing with fellow football star Thierry Henry two days before.

It’s unknown if the actor, who is well-known for his love of switching up his hairstyles, reached for the clippers once more or if the picture was a throwback.

The 48-year-old former captain of England posted the picture to Instagram with a lighthearted remark that made reference to Lionel Messi, who he recently signed with Inter Miami.

Cashing in! David's latest sweet Instagram post comes after he was announced as the new brand partner for Nespresso, in his latest big-money deal. He already boasts a net worth of £372 million, and has now joined forces with the coffee brand for a new campaign

Citing athletes at the pinnacle of their sport as the “Greatest Of All Time,” he wrote: “Made a little friend in the country.” Sorry, Harper Seven, but we are unable to preserve it. We currently have enough G.O.A.Ts, @intermiamicf.

Messi, considered one of the best players of all time, was officially welcomed to the squad back in July by David and his Inter Miami co-owner Jorge Mas for an incredible $60 million annually, making him the undisputed jewel in David’s crown.

But as he made his way off the field and back to his farm, David, wearing a blue shirt and a waxed jacket, seemed happy as he clutched the young goat.

He was flaunting his close buzzcut in the photo, which seemed to cover less hair than what he had earlier in the week.

Following his announcement as Nespresso’s new brand partner, David’s most recent lovely Instagram photo reflects his recent high-profile deal. Having previously established his wealth at £372 million, he has teamed up with the coffee company for a fresh marketing initiative.

David shared the news of the collaboration on Instagram and starred in a promotional video sipping a signature Nespresso drink.

David declared, in reference to the campaign, “I’ve always loved Nespresso coffee.”

“It’s very easy to make, comes in a great variety of blends, and tastes amazing in every cup—perfect for a quiet moment with my family or getting ready for a business meeting.”
