After getting into a dispute with Everton players during Chelsea’s 2-0 loss at Goodison Park, Nicolas Jackson was cleared by the FA of any wrongdoing.
While he was furiously arguing with Toffees players and Mauricio Pochettino and other Chelsea officials, Jackson grabbed Everton’s Nathan Patterson by the throat during the brawl and had to be removed from the scene.
Since the match officials examined the event immediately and did not take any further action, striker Jackson has evaded any potential consequences.
Jackson went head-to-head with Everton teammates Patterson and Amadou Onana after the full-time whistle sounded at Goodison Park.

Although he has scored six goals in fifteen Premier League appearances this season, the Senegalese international has racked up seven yellow cards and a one-match suspension due to his five bookings in Chelsea’s opening six league games.
Pochettino has recently showed video clips of fouls his team has committed in training and asked them to eliminate “silly” yellow cards.
Despite having 16 shots on goal during the encounter, Chelsea were ultimately frustrated as Toffees stars Abdoulaye Doucoure and Lewis Dobbin scored in the second half.

Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson ‘escapes FA ban for Nathan Patterson incident’
Despite coming off the bench to play the last 23 minutes of the Premier League encounter at Goodison Park, Jackson couldn’t save Chelsea from defeat on Merseyside.
Mauricio Pochettino’s squad suffered their seventh loss of the season as Everton took all three points on goals scored by Abdoulaye Doucoure and Lewis Dobbin in the second half.
After the final buzzer, Jackson got into a scuffle with a number of Everton players; photos show him putting his left hand around Patterson’s neck as Pochettino yanked him off the field.
Several news agencies, including The Athletic, have reported that the FA has verified that match officials at the time evaluated the incident involving Jackson; nonetheless, the striker will not be subject to any more disciplinary action.
So, Jackson can play for Chelsea this Saturday at Stamford Bridge in their Premier League match against Sheffield United.Casemiro of Manchester United and Rodri of Manchester City were both sent off for comparable acts earlier this season in Premier League games, prompting the decision.
The Brazilian Casemiro received a three-match suspension for violent behavior after being issued a straight red card in March during Manchester United’s 2-1 victory against Crystal Palace for bringing his hands to Will Hughes’ neck.
Meanwhile, Rodri was also handed a three-game punishment for his two-handed grip on Morgan Gibbs-White’s neck in Man City’s 2-0 September win over Nottingham Forest. The incident occurred 27 seconds into the second half.
After reportedly joining Chelsea from Villarreal for £32 million in the summer, Jackson has had a tumultuous start to life in West London. He has scored six goals in fifteen Premier League appearances, but he also has a league-high seven yellow cards; the only player with more than that is Edson Alvarez of West Ham United.
Pochettino has previously cautioned the Senegalese international that he cannot afford to keep receiving “cheap yellow cards” if he wants to keep Chelsea out of a “very difficult situation” because most of Jackson’s bookings have been for rebellion.
Pochettino has had a tough time with Chelsea’s discipline this season. The Blues have got three red cards, second most in 2023–24, and the second-highest number of yellow cards, behind Sheffield United with 49.
