The 19-year-old penned a new five-year contract with Dortmund last week, keeping him there until the summer of 2028.
Since joining BVB in 2020 from Manchester City, Bynoe-Gittens has made 29 professional games, demonstrating his development into a first-team player.
The winger, whо wаs bоrn in Lоndоn, missed significаnt time lаst seаsоn due tо а shоulder injury, but nevertheless plаyed 20 times fоr Dоrtmund in аll cоmpetitiоns аnd scоred three times.
The signing of this new deal is an attempt by Dortmund to keep hold of Bynoe-Gittens, who they see as a promising young talent with the potential to become an important long-term asset for the club.
Arsenal, Chelsea, and Newcastle are still interested in signing Bynoe-Gittens, according to sources from Bild (via the Metro), despite the youngster’s new contract.
According to the source, the Gunners are at the top of the list for the winger’s signature, but a deal for him is not likely until at least the summer of 2019.
The three Premier League clubs are considering a move for Bynoe-Gittens in the future, so they’ll keep an eye on his development with Dortmund’s first team.
In recent years, Dortmund has seen great success in bringing up young English players like Jude Bellingham and Jadon Sancho to the first squad.
Bynoe-Gittens considers BVB to be the appropriate club for him to “take the next step” in his career because of the opportunity to play regularly with the first team.
“I am proud that Borussia Dortmund have given me the opportunity to sign such a long-term contract,” Bynoe-Gittens said on the club’s official website. “I have always felt the belief and faith of the club, even during the difficult moments for me in the last months due to injuries.
With this group, in this city, and in this arena, I feel completely at home. Because BVB has proven over many years that they provide young players playing time at the highest level if they perform convincingly, they were always my first point of contact when I was a young player.
“I wish to take the next step together with my club and want to help my team on the pitch with goals, assists and hard work.”
Bynoe-Gittens, who made his senior team debut just last month, is presently overseas on international duty with England’s Under-21s.
