Howard’s back-to-school weekend saw Diddy sporting one of the priciest and most outrageous Rolex Daytona models yet seen.
Due to its rarity, the watch is now valued at five times its initial retail cost.
The rapper studied business at Howard University in Washington, D.C., where the event was held.
The Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona, an extremely uncommon variation of the Rolex Daytona, is the watch in question. Its rainbow-colored, cut diamond bezel is the first thing that catches your eye.
The 40mm watch is entirely composed of 18k gold.
There are 56 brilliant-cut diamonds and 36 baguette-cut sapphires set within the bezel.
In addition, eleven sapphires set in baguette settings embellish the dial.
Every index has one, with the exception of the 12 o’clock index, which houses the Rolex logo.
What is the cost?
The watch is theoretically worth $96,900 at retail, but like other Rolex watches, it’s sold out and therefore cannot be bought.
As of this writing, a car of this type often costs $500,000 on the used market.
This demonstrates that Diddy’s time at Howard was profitable, since it was a prudent move.
Diddy gained notoriety in the 1990s and 2000s, despite being born and raised in Harlem, New York.
Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, found and developed artists like Mary J. Blige, Usher, and, of course, the late rapper Notorious BIG, often known as Biggie, through his own record company, Bad Boy Records.
The majority of rap critics believe that Biggie, along with Tupac, is the greatest rapper in history.
Diddy took a lengthy break to concentrate on other business endeavours following the release of his joint album Last Train to Paris in 2010 and his fourth solo album Press Play in 2006.
Clearly, this has paid off for him because he now has a billion-dollar wealth.
The Love Album: Off the Grid, her fifth studio album, was made available in September of this year.
