Mike Tyson, the 54-year-old former heavyweight champion of the world, has made a generous donation of $1 million to support Serena Williams’ tennis academy in Florida. Williams’ agent, Jill Smoller, confirmed the news, emphasizing that the funds will be utilized to assist students and their families associated with the academy who have faced challenges due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

 

Expressing gratitude for Tyson’s benevolent contribution, Smoller stated, “We are so grateful to Mike Tyson for his generous donation to our students and families.” The financial support aims to provide assistance during a challenging time for those connected with the academy.

 

In a separate event, the iconic boxer, known for his ferocious fighting style, was spotted in a suit with a smile on his face as he took the stage to present a trophy to a tennis star. The 53-year-old Tyson showcased his charismatic presence during the ceremony, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
