Due to a hand ιnjury, Nicolas Jackson has to leave the Senegal team

Although Nicolas Jackson had been called up by Senegal for the international break, he has since withdrew to tend to a hand issue he has had for a while. Abdallah Sima, a striker for Brighton & Hove Albion on loan to Scottish club Rangers, has been called up to replace Jackson.

Midway through the first half of the League Cup match against Brighton two weeks ago, Jackson damaged his hand after landing awkwardly following an attempted shot while under pressure from Carlos Baleba. Jackson continued to play with his right hand severely wrapped and eventually scored the game’s lone goal early in the second half. Jackson, who had been suspended for the match against Fulham, returned to action last weekend against Burnley, scoring once again despite playing with a full-on splint to immobilize the damaged limb.

I assume he has now chosen to put the break to good use and deal with the issue at hand. No time away from Chelsea is expected, and even without his fortunate bandages, we hope he can keep scoring in every game he plays.

Chelsea: £45m star has ‘ongoing problem’ in personal life at Stamford Bridge

Raheem Sterling, a winger for Chelsea, has had a rough season, and journalist Dean Jones has spoken to GIVEMESPORT to explain some of the internal rationale behind his up and down form.

According to ESPN, Chelsea paid Manchester City roughly £45 million to get Sterling last summer. The England international arrived with high expectations due to his trophy haul and impressive play at the Etihad Stadium, but he has failed to live up to the hype.

Sterling may not be held personally responsible for the team’s poor performance over the past few seasons, but as a veteran player, Mauricio Pochettino will expect more from him. It will take some time for the west London club to find its footing under new manager Mauricio Pochettino and the influx of new players they acquired during the summer transfer window. But there have been recent signs of improvement, with Chelsea winning three straight games in all competitions.Sterling is part of a group at Stamford Bridge that needs to take responsibility for their recent troubles, according to journalist Paul Brown, who recently told GIVEMESPORT. Considering the plethora of youthful talent brought in by Todd Boehly, Sterling, at age 28, is one of the most seasoned players in Pochettino’s squad.

After Sterling was left out of England manager Gareth Southgate’s last team, Southgate, 53, gave an explanation for his decision.

“We discussed the wide players’ performances before the previous team, and we’re pleased with their play in the last four games, in particular, and the two in March. The team’s performance has been outstanding, and it’s evident that they’ve found some consistency. We have recruited Jarrod Bowen in the wide areas; he has five goals in seven games and is performing admirably; and the upcoming match against Australia will provide a further learning opportunity.
