Erling Haaland was awarded a personalized ring to commemorate his remarkable debut season in English football. The Norwegian striker received this jewelry as recognition of another outstanding award.

 

Haaland scored an impressive 52 goals in 53 matches for Manchester City last term after his move from Borussia Dortmund. He also secured a treble, with his goals guiding City to glory in the Premier League, Champions League, and FA Cup. To honor this record-breaking campaign, Haaland’s achievements have now been etched onto the engraved ring. In addition to his goal tally for the season, the Norwegian flag and the three trophies he won with City have also been engraved on the ring.

 

During the 2022/23 season, Haaland finished as the top scorer in both the Premier League and the Champions League with 36 and 12 goals, respectively. His league goal tally also earned him the European Golden Shoe, along with being named the UEFA Best Player in Europe and FWA Footballer of the Year.

 

City and the Premier League both selected Haaland as their Player of the Season, and he also received the PFA Players’ Player of the Year award from fellow professionals. Meanwhile, the 23-year-old has followed up his record-breaking campaign with eight goals in his first eight league appearances this season. His form has sparked discussions regarding a potential new contract, according to reports.

 

Haaland still has four years remaining on his current contract, set to expire in 2027.
