In a brief video, he accepted the medal and remarked, “Hey everybody! All I want to say is that I appreciate you choosing me as player of the year. The ring is amazing.”
Haaland scored 36 goals in the Premier League and 12 goals in the Champions League to finish as the league’s top scorer in 2022–2023.
