After the Ballon d’Or awards, ERLING HAALAND whisked his girlfriend away for a romantic supper in Paris.

The Manchester City striker, 23, was at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris on Monday night, just more than 24 hours after lighting up the Manchester derby.

He received the Gerd Muller trophy, which is awarded to the top scorer in the 2022–23 season.

Last season, Haaland scored 56 goals in 57 matches for club and country, propelling City to a historic treble.

The huge Norwegian pipped the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Harry Kane, and Lionel Messi to the prized accolade.

But Messi grabbed the top trophy as he was elected Ballon d’Or winner for a record-extending seventh time after leading Argentina to a World Cup triumph in Qatar.

However, second-placed Haaland was not going to let the result mar his evening.

Instead, he was photographed heading out for dinner with model partner Isabel Johansen in the French capital.

Isabel shined in her sparkling rose gold dress and shoes, while Haaland looked fine in his blue suit, but abandoned the bow tie and let down his flowing hair.

The couple met through football when the duo were both playing for Bryne in Norway as youths.

But despite growing up together, it is claimed that it was not until Haaland was at Borussia Dortmund that they started dating.

The duo has routinely been sighted out in public for dinners and shopping trips, and Isabel continues to support her guy at numerous awards ceremonies thanks to his remarkable goalscoring heroics.

And it was his fantastic debut season at the Etihad that saw him collect the Gerd Muller trophy on Monday night.

A video displayed all 56 of his goals on the screen before host Didier Drogba sought to encourage Haaland to mimic either the great Chelsea striker’s celebration or that of Gary Lineker – who gave the prize, following his next score.

And fans may not have to wait long to see if he does it as City visit struggling Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday.

Haaland also helped the Citizens land the Club of the Year prize with ten players nominated for the Ballon d’Or and Ballon d’Or Feminin.
