Another candidate for the championship is Roma in Group G with Slavia Praha (Czech Republic), Sheriff (Moldova) and Servette (Switzerland). Villarreal is also in a relatively easy group including the teams Rennes (France), Maccabi Haifa (Israel) and Panathinaikos (Greece).
The 2023/24 Europa League group stage will take place from September 21 to December 14, at the same time as the Europa Conference League matches.
