Recent reports indicate that Nigerian energy magnate Kola Aluko is the alleged owner of the ultra-luxurious yacht Galactica Star, a vessel recently chartered by Jay Z and Beyoncé for a vacation.

This opulent yacht, valued at £50 million (€65 million, $73 million), spans an impressive 65 meters and can reach speeds of up to 28 knots (32 mph) in favorable conditions, thanks to its innovative hull construction that significantly enhances fuel efficiency.

The Galactica Star offers luxurious accommodations, including a full-beam master bedroom, an upper-deck VIP cabin, and four additional double cabins, providing space for up to 12 people. The yacht’s amenities also feature a “beach club” equipped with a helipad, a 10-square-meter balcony, and generous entertaining areas.

While there are speculations that the yacht might be available for charter at $900,000 a week (or £580,000), in reality, access is exceptionally exclusive, requiring personal acquaintance with the owner for a stay on the yacht.

Introduced in 2014, the Galactica Star earned a prestigious Neptune Trophy at a renowned event dubbed “the Oscars of the super-yacht industry.” The interior, skillfully designed by Bannenberg and Rowell Design, esteemed names in yacht design, seamlessly complements the yacht’s sleek and metallic exterior.
