DRAKE fans were taken aback when K.De Bruyne was named as a writer on one of Drake’s new tracks.

The mystery surrounding Kevin De Bruyne’s writing abilities was heightened after the footballer was labeled as a writer by music website Genius.
De Bruyne has been out of action since August due to a hamstring injury that necessitated surgery.
But it seems that he had put his time away from the field to good use by entering the studio with Drake.
The song actually makes no mention of football and instead concentrates on Drake’s life and rap beefs.
Drake appears to resurrect a long-running dispute with fellow American rapper Pusha T in the song.
Fans on X, then known as Twitter, were eager to make light of De Bruyne’s contribution off the field.
“Even when he’s not playing, he still finds a way to help someone,” one user remarked.
Another fan commented, “A wonderful assist from KDB, but this time to DRAKE.”
“He was born to help,” wrote a third.
De Bruyne has since tweeted that the artist identified on the song is NOT him: “@Drake needed an assist.”
In a subsequent tweet, he clarified, “All jokes aside, it’s not me!” But I’m a huge fan!”
The featured performer is Koen De Bruyne, a Belgian pianist who lived from 1946 until 1977.
Manchester City are hopeful that De Bruyne will be able to return to fitness before the new year, with Pep Guardiola providing an update on his condition this week.
“I spoke with him, and he said he feels really good,” Guardiola stated.
“He isn’t training with us yet, and I’m not sure when he will.” I’d say he’s nearing the end of his training with us.”
