MANCHESTER CITY has unveiled some amazing “back to the 90s” photos of its players created with artificial intelligence – and it’s terrible news for Julian Alvarez.
The AI-generated images posted by the club showed eight of their stars dressed in 90s garb.
Jack Grealish, for example, was given long hair with a quiff and a brown leather jacket.
Manager Pep Guardiola was given a full head of hair, restoring him to his youthful appearance as a young player.
Kyle Walker’s AI avatar showed him wearing sunglasses and sporting a fantastic wavy hairdo.
And Kevin de Bruyne, who was dressed in a blue sweatshirt, was given a parting for his striking ginger hair.
Erling Haaland’s extraordinary metamorphosis saw him sporting an Elvis-style quiff and mullet down his neck.
The Norwegian, 23, was also dressed up in a bright red, blue, and black jacket.
Meanwhile, another Manchester City forward, Alvarez, was given a comical long, brown mullet that was very 90s in style.
Phil Foden sported a more current hairstyle while wearing a blue, white, and red throwback jacket.
Bernardo Silva was given a hilarious brown haircut that rendered him nearly unrecognizable.
One social media user commented on the AI photos, saying, “Haaland looks like the villain in high school movies.”
Another person said, “Jack is giving original 21 Jump Street, Johnny Depp vibes. 😂”
“Silva is looking like someone from Nazareth,” said a third.
A fourth person commented, “Haaland looks like he gives Alvarez wedgies.”
Man City defender John Stones just responded with a laughing emoji, clearly amused by the mocked-up images of his teammates.
