Rolls-Royce is making a grand entrance into the world of fashion with its latest Dawn model, drawing inspiration from haute couture. Imagine it as the brand’s Spring/Summer 2017 Couture collection embodied in a luxury automobile.
This visionary concept combines the purity of spring and summer whites with a jolt of electrifying color, as the new Dawn is truly Inspired by Fashion. Design Director Giles Taylor handpicked a team of designers from the realms of fashion, exquisite textiles, and opulent accessories. Among them are textile specialist Cherica Haye from the Royal College of Art and leather technologist Michelle Lusby, renowned for her previous work at Mulberry.
These talented designers used a pristine white canvas to showcase the vibrant palette of three colors that defined the 2017 Spring/Summer collection: Mugello Red, Cobalto Blue, and Mandarin. The cars are adorned with striking accents of these hues, most notably on their roofs, creating a powerful visual impact.
Inside the vehicles, you’ll find interior color schemes combining Arctic White and Black, punctuated by splashes of the accent colors. The car’s front and rear door pockets feature finely printed silks, displaying an abstract interpretation of the Spirit of Ecstasy, with each emblem meticulously aligned at 55 degrees to complement the door’s elegant lines.
The exquisite dashboard, crafted in Piano White with aluminum particles, exudes a silky texture, and an exclusive clock integrated into the dashboard resembles a precious piece of jewelry, enhancing the interior’s allure.
Truly inspired by the world of fashion and infused with unparalleled style, the Rolls-Royce Dawn captures the essence of spring/summer couture, inviting us to embrace the next season with timeless elegance.
