For a very good reason, 50 Cent only uses one private plane for travel

Loyalty is something that 50 Cent values highly above anything else.

In a recent TikTok video, Atlanta Hawks owner Jesse Itzler made the same statement.

50 Cent’s contracts seem to have very specific language indicating that he will only fly with Marquis Jet.

It turns out that Itzler owns a lot of businesses, including the private jet industry.

50 Cent might be expressing his gratitude to Itzler for hiring him as an intern in the 1990s with this gesture.

Before beginning his lucrative music career, the American rapper worked as an intern at Itzler’s music marketing company, Alphabet City Sports Records, according to Complex.

In the TikTok video, Itzler reminisced, “I have this kid who’s a boxer who wants to be a rapper, but he wants to get some business experience.”

We came to an agreement whereby he would assist me in writing the jingles I was writing at the time in exchange for any experience I could provide him as an intern.

Itzler continued by describing how their relationship blossomed and resumed.

Ten years later, we go our separate ways, and 50 turns into this incredible global celebrity. I also operate a private jet business called Marquis Jet. Coincidentally, he happens to be a guest on one of our flights.

So I asked the pilot to jot down a note. “50, you’re never going to believe this,” it said. You’re on one of my flights; this is Jesse from the Jingle Company.

He added a clause stating that he would only fly with Marquis Jet to all of his contracts the next day. That serves as a lesson in loyalty, and you never know who might emerge as the next 50 Cent.

Typical 50 Cent, he verified the story on Instagram.

“I think Jessie owns the Atlanta Hawks, and that’s 100% true. I gotta catch up with him now,” 50 retorted.

I’m not sure what else qualifies as the pinnacle of loyalty, if not that.
