While the rest of Arsenal’s squad battled through frigid weather in Sweden on Thursday for the Europa League, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang used his downtime to look for a new home.
Taking a look at a breathtaking £16 million mansion, the 28-year-old is searching for real estate in north London. Last month, he signed for £56 million from Borussia Dortmund.
Built only four years ago, the six-bedroom mansion was designed by Kelly Hoppen, an interior designer with a history working with the Beckhams and a stint as a “Dragon” on the BBC show Dragons’ Den.
In addition to the standard living areas of a reception hall, kitchen, dining room, and sitting room, this luxurious home features six bathrooms, five shower rooms, three dressing rooms, a study, and a drawing room.
Also included are a swimming pool, a home theater, a completely landscaped 129-foot garden, and a fully-equipped gym.
While he’s not swatting goals for Arsenal, the Gabon international would have plenty of space to spread out in this house.
Former England and Arsenal defender Sol Campbell’s ex-girlfriend Kelly Hoppen created it.
The West London mansion of Christine and Frank Lampard also features a basement pool, gym, and theater; the 58-year-old was decorated with the Order of the British Empire in 2009 for her contributions to interior design.
He played for Dortmund in the Champions League group stage, which disqualifies him from the Europa League. However, his teammates didn’t appear to miss him much as they strolled to a 3-0 victory over Ostersunds.
They took the lead through Nacho Monreal and then doubled it with an own goal by Sotirios Papagiannopoulos. Mesut Ozil had a restful second half and finished the job comfortably.
On his day off, Aubameyang also cleaned his collection of high-end vehicles, which included a Ferrari 812 Superfast and a gold Range Rover Sport Mansory.
A new driveway may soon be available for them to sit on.
