Following his brutal treatment at the hands of his Sheffield United teammates, Kyle Walker emerged victorious.
Prior to becoming an England player and winning the Manchester City Treble, the right-back was a striker in the Blades’ development squad.

He used to clean Billy Sharp’s boots
Walker came on the scene as a defender, but before that, he used to clean the boots of club legend Billy Sharp.
In 2008, he made his senior debut for his childhood club. Shortly after, he and teammate Kyle Naughton transferred to Tottenham in a £9 million double deal.
However, Walker was humorously ejected from the team hotel by his teammates shortly before he departed Sheffield United. The players had no idea that Walker was going at all.
Sharp stated on the No Tippy Tappy Football podcast: “We traveled to Malta for a preseason vacation.
“Walker and Naughton shared a room, but for some strange reason, they had the greatest room in the house.
We thought, ‘What’s going on?'” Two boys in the greatest room.
“The following day, both of them left to Tottenham after we threw them out of this room.
“I bet they were just laughing and thinking ‘we’re off to Tottenham.'”
Walker played 229 games for Spurs before joining City, indicating that his move there was a success.
Naughton, meanwhile, spent the final nine years of his career at Swansea and participated in 74 club games.
Regarding Sharp, he is currently a member of the LA Galaxy in the MLS.
