Fullback Amar Dedic of RB Salzburg attracts interest from Arsenal, Chelsea, and Newcastle

The 21-year-old spent time on loan with Liefering and Wolfsberger AC to hone his skills before making his Salzburg debut last year and swiftly became a star.

The youngster made his Champions League debut in each of Salzburg’s six group stage matches, building on his experience from last season in both the league and the Europa League.

According to The Sun, the right-back has a large list of interested parties. He has scored five goals this season while playing defense.Premier League clubs with the most interest are Chelsea, Arsenal, and Newcastle; nevertheless, the race is far from over, with Barcelona, Inter Milan, and Roma also showing interest.

Last summer, Jose Mourinho’s Roma offered almost £21 million to sign Dedic, but they were unsuccessful. However, it is highly probable that Dedic will join a major club in 2024.

The 21-year-old’s versatility as a right-back and all-around back-four player is sure to pique the interest of a wide array of clubs.

His most recent deal was signed in January, extending his stay at Salzburg until 2027. However, bids for his services will be received next summer, maybe as early as next month.

Dedic stated last month that he was unaware of any interest from Roma regarding a possible January transfer. However, for an aspiring young player like myself, Serie A presents an exciting and challenging environment.

At this very time, though, tomorrow’s match in Salzburg is the only thing on my mind.

Liverpool avoid Chelsea in Carabao Cup semi-finals as Reds get Fulham and Blues face Middlesbrough

After Wednesday’s win against West Ham at Anfield, Marco Silva’s squad will face Liverpool in a best-of-three match.

The Reds cruised past the Hammers, 5-1, thanks to goals from Mohamed Salah, Dominik Szoboszlai, Cody Gakpo, and Curtis Jones.

At the Riverside Stadium, Chelsea will face Middlesbrough in the first leg.

Even though last season’s finalists tumbled out, the Blues advanced to the semifinals with a Tuesday night penalty shootout victory over Newcastle at Stamford Bridge.

Mykhailo Mudryk scored a stoppage-time equalizer on Kieran Trippier’s blunder, and Trippier then missed a penalty in the shootout that followed. Trippier had a nightmare night.

In the 2022 Carabao Cup final at Wembley, which went to penalties, Liverpool and Chelsea last met.

After each player took a penalty kιck, the Reds won thanks to a goal by Caoimhin Kelleher and an own-goal by Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Plus, if each team wins their semi-final, they have a shot at meeting in the final.

On January 8, Liverpool will host the opening leg of the match at Anfield. The following day, they will travel to Craven Cottage to play the second game.

As they go for an eleventh League Cup, Liverpool may think they have a good chance of winning it all this year.

Manchester United, who won last year, and Manchester City, who finished second, both lost earlier this season.

Chelsea could have something to sаy about it, but Middlesbrough and Fulham are hoping for a huge .

The last non-Premier League club to reach the final was Bradford City in 2011, so Boro’s advancement would be historic.

That time around, they went all the way to the finals to meet Michael Laudrup’s Swansea, who went on to win 5-0.
