Good news: The duo of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez will be reuniting at Inter Miami

After missing out on the MLS Cup Playoffs in Lionel Messi’s debut season, Inter Miami is already planning ahead for next year.

However, the team is apparently considering signing a new striker with whom Messi is familiar.

Luis Suarez, a striker for Uruguay’s national team, has been connected to Inter Miami ever since Lionel Messi joined the club.

The Miami Dolphins, according to manager Tata Martino’s comments to the press, are already imagining how they may look with the Uruguayan in the starting lineup.

Martino said at a press conference, “Within our analysis of the upcoming season and the needs we may have, we have an analysis with Luis and an analysis without Luis.”

When the time comes to make Suarez’s status with Inter Miami official, we will be ready to act accordingly.

Since Messi’s arrival in Miami, rumors have circulated that Suarez will follow him there, with many expecting that this could lead to a reunion between the two former Barcelona colleagues.

The Brazilian club Gremio, however, had signed Suarez. However, the 36-year-old has announced his intention to depart the club after the end of the Brazilian club season in December.

Since Suarez signed a two-year contract with the Brazilian giants last year, his exit comes a year before the contract’s original end date. In 42 games for Gremio, he scored 18 times.

After Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba joined the Argentina captain in Florida this summer, a deal for Suarez would give Messi a third partner at Barcelona.

During their time together at Barcelona, Suarez and Messi won four La Liga titles, four Copa del Rey trophies, and a Champions League title.
