What Steph Curry Said to Scott Foster After He Ejected Chris Paul
In his first game back at Footprint Center, Chris Paul suffered yet another setback when NBA referee Scott Paul dismissed him during the Warriors’ 123-115 loss to the Suns.
Paul’s teammate Steph Curry discussed what upset him about the events between Paul and Foster during Wednesday’s game and the controversy that followed.
He clarified what he said to Foster after being ejected as well.
аfter the gаme, Curry remаrked, “I meаn, I think we were dоwn dоuble digits аlreаdy.” “[Chris Pаul] is definitely necessаry fоr us becаuse оf his leаdership аnd style оf gаme mаnаgement. I dislike аnd find it аnnоying. I understаnd thаt histоry exists аnd thаt Pаul discussed it, but when а plаyer аnd the referee cоnverse, thаt diаlоgue needs tо kind оf end there. аfter Scоtt [Fоster] expelled him, I tоld him thаt.
“It’s like… players frequently walk over the line in specific circumstances. Sometimes you kind of know you have to back off, but I don’t like it when both of them are interacting. When I watched it, that’s the portion that confused me the most. Similar to two males having a conversation and being honest. Just let’s have some basketball.
Foster’s choice to dismiss CP3 did not sit well with Steve Kerr, the head coach of the Dubs.
Kerr said to reporters, “Well, I didn’t think Chris deserved to be ejected.” Without a doubt, the first tech. However, I didn’t think the second one was necessary. Everyone has frustration, after all. However, that is up to the authority.
Due to Draymond Green’s suspension, Golden State was already down a man, and even though the game was tight in the end, the visiting team lacked the strength to defeat the Suns, who had Kevin Durant and Devin Booker playing at their peak.
