We’re all used to seeing Erling Haaland score goals for fun, with supporters dubbing him a robot because of how easy he appears to find the whole thing – but a new video shows he has a softer side.
Haaland brightens the day of a little fan
The boy, eager to meet some of the traveling Norwegian squad, waits outside the team bus with a pen and a pad, hoping that one of them will come over.
And who cares? Only the six-foot-plus robot himself greets a young enthusiast who requests an autograph.
Before settling down to sign the pad, he says, “Can I sign it?”

He then inquires about the young admirer, who appears to be astonished that Haaland has just arrived, before signing another pad.
A memory the child will never forget, and an item he will treasure – perhaps Haaland isn’t such a robot after all.
