In a live TV interview with Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez, Michael Strahan brings the most joy all season to Yankees fans

The 51-year-old New York Giants great pitched to Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez on Fox Sports NFL Sunday.

The studio for the Һit sports show was transformed into a Home Run Derby competition.

On the second level, far above the spectacle, Teddy Bradshaw was among the Fox Sports A-listers.

And Howie Long and FOX NFL reporter Jay Glazer debuted a “Һit it to the gap” photo of Michael Strahan that highlighted the NFL legend’s missing teeth.

Strahan threw some whiffle balls for Jeter to Һit.

The Hall of Fаme shortstop Һit the first two pitches, but he missed the third as Strahan shouted, “You can’t go out like that.”

The FOX celebrities watched in awe as Jeter smashed the next pitch, and they erupted in cheers.

After a Һit, Rodriguez was up next, and the three-time MVP in retirement swung and missed at the first pitch he saw.

Despite the fact that the 2023 New York Yankees did not make the playoffs, fans were overjoyed to see Jeter and Rodriguez on the broadcast.

Someone said: “Watching jeter and arod swing and miss at wiffle balls thrown by Michael Strahan is honestly more enjoyable than this Yankees season lol.”

Someone else wrote: “This Micheal Strahan vs Jeter and Arod on NFL Sunday on Fox has me deаd!”

A third user said, “Loving this Strahan segment.”

As a fourth user put it, “Nothing like seeing Jeter and A-Rod together.”

In 2023, FOX will broadcast the MLB playoffs with Jeter and Rodriguez as baseball analysts.

From 2004 until 2014, they played together for the Yankees, and in 2009 they won the World Series.

Legendary Boston Red Sox outfielder and Fox MLB analyst David Ortiz joined in on the fun and smashed all three whiffle balls Һit his way.
