The vessel is named Seven – matching his shirt number for the Red Devils and as his country’s skipper, plus the middle name of ten-year-old daughter Harper.

Unshaven Becks was on the crest of a wave as he laughed and joked during the sun-kissed Florida jaunt while dressed in black shorts, white T-shirt, and a baseball cap worn back-to-front.

An onlooker said: “David looked ecstatic as he took to sea onboard his gleaming boat. He’s wanted a yacht for a long time and couldn’t be happier with his new toy.”
