Jude Bellingham matches Cristiano Ronaldo’s remarkable goal record at Real Madrid

Jude Bellingham has equaled Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal tally during his initial 10 matches with Real Madrid.

The English midfielder scored twice for Los Blancos in their 4-0 victory over Osasuna at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday, bringing his total goals to an impressive 10 in just 10 appearances for the Spanish side. Bellingham has found the back of the net in every game except one, a recent loss to Atletico. It’s worth noting that Cristiano Ronaldo also scored 10 goals in his first 10 games for Real Madrid during the 2009/10 season, despite suffering a knee injury early in the campaign.

In terms of goal involvement, Bellingham takes the lead with three assists in his first 10 games, while Ronaldo managed just one. Cristiano Ronaldo went on to achieve an incredible record, scoring 450 goals in 438 appearances for Los Blancos over nine seasons before his move to Juventus in the summer of 2018.

After the latest match, Vinicius Junior expressed his admiration for Bellingham, stating that he was “destined to play for Real Madrid.”

“He was born to play for Real Madrid, to make history at the world’s biggest club,” the Brazilian player said. “Let’s hope our partnership continues for many years, and we stay here together for an extended period.”

“I’m thrilled to play alongside Jude, one of the best players of his generation. We are all excited, and the fans are loving it.”
