Levi Colwill sends message to Moises Caicedo: ‘You can rely on him’

After playing together last season for Brighton, the Ecuadorian just transferred to Chelsea, reuniting the two players at Stamford Bridge. Caicedo played in front of the on-loan defender Colwill in all but one of Colwill’s league matches on the South Coast.

Caicedo once again displayed why he is so highly regarded in this role for Chelsea on Friday night in their resounding victory against Luton. Levi believes that nothing can replace hands-on knowledge.

The 20-year-old player remarked, “Playing with him last season you just rely on him.”

I can always count on him to cover for me in the middle of the field, even when I know I have made a mistake. Even if I threw him some duds last season, he still made me look good and saved my bacon.

‘I believe everybody who saw him last season understands how outstanding a player he is,’ Colwill continued.

Every penny spent on him was well spent, in my opinion. Among Premier League and global midfielders, I expect him to shine. No, I don’t think so.

It’s going to work out well with him and the other great players we have on this team, because he’s a very talented player. “I’m glad he’s here,” she said.

‘Selling him was stupiԀ’ – Chelsea fans in as Christian Pulisic scores again for AC Milan

The new United States international scored the first goal in a 4-1 victory over Torino for his new team.Olivier Giroud’s two goals on Saturday were just the latest example of how Chelsea’s recent transfer dealings have benefited Milan.

Former Blues teammate Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who followed Pulisic to the Rossoneri from Chelsea, provided the assist.

This is the 24-year-old’s second goal of the season for Milan, following his first goal on opening day against Bologna.

Many Chelsea supporters are by the news, especially since Pulisic did not make a strong impression during his four years at the club (some even compared him to the club’s current star, Mykhailo Mudryk). One devoted follower commented, “Selling him was stupiԀ.”

As someone else put it, “Pulisic is way better than Mudryk and he cost less.”

And this supporter opined, “Pulisic ought to be frying for Chelsea. They were never given a chance.

An further fan tweeted, “A fit Pulisic is always better than Mudryk.”And another rant: “I’ve been trying to tell you guys for the past two seasons. A star player was going to waste. Our system was a nightmare for cybercriminals.

We have far too many guys who play the left side of the field. Injuries limited Pulisic to six weeks each season, but they were all quite minor. Since the summer of 2020, wasn’t given a fair shot.”

The second goal scored by Pulisic, after a fantastic run by Loftus-Cheek, was a textbook example of a goal poacher’s effort.

The goalie had come out, and the midfielder had pushed past the defender before cutting the ball back.

It opened the door for Pulisic to score, and he has now scored twice in his first two games in Serie A for Milan.

For a cost that could exceed £19 million, the American moved to Italy from Chelsea, a significant drop from the £58 million they spent to get him from Borussia Dortmund in 2019.

A series of ailments prevented him from seeing significant time with the first squad during his stay at Stamford Bridge.
