Inter Miami have announced that the club will embark on its first-ever overseas tour in China in early November.

WHAT HAPPENED? The team will take part in two friendly matches against Chinese Super League teams. They will play Chengdu Rongcheng on November 8 at Phoenix Hill Sports Park and Qingdao Hainiu F.C. on November 5 at the Qingdao Youth Football Stadium, respectively.

Miami will face Charlotte FC in its final two games on Wednesday at home and on the road on Saturday. As he works to keep in shape for Argentina’s World Cup qualifiers in the third week of November, Lionel Messi will benefit from the tour games.

WHAT THEY SAID?: “We’re thrilled to bring our team to play in front of amazing supporters all over the world as we continue to broaden our Club’s worldwide impact. According to Chief Business Officer Xavier Asensi, “This is a unique opportunity to share the passion as we reach new audiences and put ourselves on display in new places. We’re looking forward to starting this adventure.”

“We’ll have a tremendous chance to build on our 2023 campaign, during which we won our first-ever trophy. As we strive to build on last season and find greater success going forward, we will use this as an opportunity to start our preparations for 2024, said Sporting Director and Chief Soccer Officer Chris Henderson.
