Liverpool star’s ‘angry’ confession prompts calls for Jurgen Klopp to shuffle the starting XI

When Liverpool plays in the Premier League again, Jurgen Klopp has been instructed to bench Cody Gakpo in favor of Darwin Nunez.

While Gakpo has started five more Premier League games than Nunez, the latter has made a bigger impact for the Reds in front of goal. The club’s record signing has scored three goals and assisted on two more in the Premier League this season.

In the season opener against LASK in the Europa League, he scored twice and added an assist. However, Gakpo has only scored three goals in all competitions, prompting former Liverpool player Danny Murphy to propose that Klopp make a move in the striker position.
