Lukaku scored 4 goals in 37 minutes to help Belgium win the top spot in the group

In the final Euro 2024 qualifying match between Belgium and Azerbaijan, Romelu Lukaku scored a hat-trick after just half an hour, with goals scored in the 17th, 26th and 30th minutes. The 30-year-old striker helped the national team. Belgium ended the first half with a score of 4-0 with a very quick finish in the 37th minute of the match.

In the second half, Arsenal midfielder Leandro Trossard scored a 5-0 victory for Belgium, thereby helping the home team finish the qualifying round at the top of Group F, 1 point ahead of Austria in second place. Belgium and Austria are the two teams that will soon win tickets to Euro 2024 before the November match.

4 goals in the match against Azerbaijan helped striker Romelu Lukaku rise to 7th place on the list of top scorers for the national team. Lukaku currently has the same 83 goals for the national team as UAE team legend Ali Mabkhout. And he also surpassed Poland’s Robert Lewandowski.

The player being loaned by Chelsea to Roma is currently only 1 goal behind Hungary’s Ferenc Puskas and 6 goals behind Malaysia’s Mokhtar Dahari. But the top 4 will take a very long time for Lukaku to overcome. India’s Sunil Chhetri ranked fourth with 93 goals, while Lionel Messi ranked third with 106 goals for Argentina.

Iranian icon Ali Daei remains second with 109 goals, while Cristiano Ronaldo continues to score for Portugal and reaches a staggering 128 goals.
