The decisive moments of the game occurred in the space of ten minutes, specifically between the 76th and 86th minutes, when Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland scored two goals for Man City. Before then, West Ham had reason to believe that they would earn a point after taking the lead in the game thanks to James Ward in the 36th minute. -After Jeremy Doku had tied the game at the opening of the second half, Prowse was able to keep it tied for the next more than 30 minutes, so the score remained 1-1.
