Erling Haaland of Manchester City is so large that the Premier League champions had to create a special treatment bed for him.
Fellow City player Kyle Walker said that the 6’4″ striker has been nicknamed Big E by his teammates.
Haaland is too large for the standard-size treatment beds and this has spawned a new nickname
Although Manchester City defeated Bournemouth to move to the top of the Premier League, coach Pep Guardiola was not pleased when Erling Haaland was hurt.
“Twist in the ankle; we didn’t want to take risks with him,” the Spaniard told the BBC after his team’s triumph over Bournemouth. He didn’t feel at ease. He’ll be returning perhaps Tuesday, but more likely next Sunday.”
After the table arrived in the club’s treatment room, Norwegian ace Haaland, 23, was christened with his new nickname, England defender Walker told Sky TV’s Saturday Social.
“He’s just massive, isn’t he?” he explained.
“Big E, that’s what we call him.”
“Because he doesn’t fit on the regular beds, we had to purchase a new bed for the treatment room.”
“He’s had to have his own special bed.”

With his stature and power, Haaland has terrorized opponents this season, scoring 11 league goals.
This comes after a phenomenal first season at the club after signing from Borussia Dortmund last summer, when he scored 52 goals in 53 appearances to help City win the Premier League, Champions League, and FA Cup.
Despite his accomplishments, Walker claims that the Norwegian has no ego and that “he’s a good laugh.”
He went on to say, “Obviously, he’s a superstar, and, in the nicest way possible, he knows that, but he’s not arrogant with that.”
Off the field, Haaland enjoys meditation, and his signature goal celebration is the Zen position.
