Enzo Fernandez and Cole Palmer can be seen giggling in a behind-the-scenes video of the Argentine performing the stunt that was shared on Chelsea’s website. Blues supporters also loved it on social media.

One ally tweeted with a laughing emoji, “Poch really did Deivid Washington cruel at the beginning with that nutmeg.”

Washington, a Brazilian who moved from Santos to Chelsea this summer and signed a seven-year deal, hasn’t played a single minute for the Blues.

The west Londoners reportedly spent €20 million (£17.2 million) on the 18-year-old forward.

The nutmeg clip implies that things are going well at Chelsea, which has won its last three games overall after a sluggish start to the season.

On the other hand, Pochettino is well aware that the Blues’ match against the unbeaten Arsenal on Saturday will be a difficult test for his team.
