Mbappe entered the Top 10 goal scorer in French football history after Donnarumma red card

In the 10th minute, home striker Josue Casimir rushed down to put pressure on goalkeeper Donnarumma. The 24-year-old goalkeeper hesitated for a beat before deciding to clear the ball, but Casimir was a beat faster and touched the ball first. Donnarumma’s leg swing was unstoppable, causing him to kick Casimir in the head outside the penalty area.

Referee Bastien Dechepy immediately gave the Italian goalkeeper a direct red card, although he reacted fiercely. He then headed straight into the tunnel, leaving PSG with just 10 men from then on. This is only the second direct red card in Donnarumma’s career.

Even though they were playing without players, PSG still scored first thanks to the efforts of their stars. In the 23rd minute, midfielder Ousmane Dembele received the ball on the right and passed it to the edge of the penalty area for Mbappe. The 25-year-old striker pushed the ball to his right foot, then curled the ball from about 17 meters away, hitting the inside edge of the post and flying into the net. Mbappe is also in the Top 10 players with the most goals in French football history, with 179 goals in 230 matches.

Goalkeeper Arnau Tenas, after replacing striker Bradley Barcola, played well, with seven saves for PSG. This is the first match the Spanish goalkeeper has captured in a national championship.

Three points were guaranteed for PSG in the 89th minute, when midfielder Manuel Ugarte stole the ball and dribbled past two players along the middle. The Uruguayan midfielder passed to Vitinha, allowing the Portuguese player to shoot from long range, hitting the opponent’s leg and flying over the goalkeeper’s head into the net. This is Vitinha’s fourth goal in 13 matches in Ligue 1 this season, a better achievement than previous seasons.
